We are situated about 10 miles inland from Aberystwyth at the head of the Melindwr Valley. The cottage is fairly easy to find as it is just off the main A44. Sat Nav map Co-ordinates are N 52deg 24'44'', W 3deg 53'55''

Directions towards Aberystwyth - After passing through Ponterwyd on the A44 you then pass the Silver Lead Mine and then Bwlch Nant Yr Arian Visitor Centre. There is a small lay by on the right by the Visitor Centre and then a large lay by also on the right.
The entrance to Nant Yr Arian Farm is approximately 200 yards past the end of this lay by on the right. You will see a road bends sign on the left and on the right a black and white post. This post indicates the top of the drive. We suggest you start indicating right half way across the lay by to give other traffic notification. To enter the drive you will need to turn almost back on yourself and will be facing the direction from which you have come.
The top of the drive has a green Forestry gate that says no admittance to unauthorised vehicles, just proceed through the gate. The drive is half a mile long and at the end splits into three, take the middle drive which leads to the house and Red Kite Cottage.
Directions from Aberystwyth - If you are approaching from Aberystwyth you will pass through Goginan, and then two miles further on the Cwmbrwyno Bends. After you have gone round the last bend, as you climb the hill you will pass a small lay by on the left. Approximately 250 yards further on you will see a falling rocks road sign, the entrance to Nant Yr Arian Farm is just before this sign on the left. You will then see the green Forestry gate and directions are the same as above to reach the property.
